FAQ
General & Brand
How do you pronounce HMLTN? HMLTN is pronounced Hamilton. Our name pays homage to timeless design and the "archival" nature of the rare objects we source.
Are your items new or vintage? The majority of our collection consists of authentic vintage pieces, however we will list contemporary items that meet our aesthetic. Any contemporary items will be clearly noted in the product description.
How often do you add new items? We operate on a "drop" basis. Because we hand-select and vet every object individually, our inventory is limited.
Orders & Shipping
How do you ship fragile items like pottery and glass? With extreme care. We use professional-grade packing materials, double-boxing when necessary, to ensure your items arrive in the same condition they left our archive.
Do you ship internationally? Currently, we ship within the United States. For international inquiries outside of these zones, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.
Can I cancel or change my order? Because we aim to ship as quickly as possible, we can only accommodate cancellations within 2 hours of purchase. Once an item has been packed for transit, the sale is final.
Condition & Authenticity
How do I know the condition of an item? Every product page includes a detailed Condition Report ranging from Pristine to Good. We also provide high-resolution photos of any specific "vintage character" (patina, light wear, etc.) so there are no surprises.
Do you offer authentication? While we are experts in MCM and luxury decor, many vintage pieces from the mid-century era do not carry original paper tags or stamps. We use our expertise to verify materials, construction methods, and designers to ensure everything in the Archive is period-authentic.
Returns
What is your return policy? To protect the integrity of our one-of-a-kind inventory, all sales are final. Please review all photos, dimensions, and condition reports carefully before purchasing. If an item arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
